American businessman, reality TV celebrity, author, and CEO Willie Robertson is worth an estimated $40 million. Willie Robertson is Phil Robertson's son; he established the Duck Commander brand of hunting equipment. With the success of their A&E reality show Duck Dynasty, Willie and his family gained a massive amount of notoriety.

Early Life

On April 22nd, 1972, in Bernice, Louisiana, Willie Jess Robertson entered the world. As a matter of fact, he entered the world just three days before his dad, Phil, turned 26. There are three brothers in his family: Alan, Jase, and Jep, who is the youngest. Willie spent much of his childhood around his father's business, Duck Commander, immersed in the world of hunting and the great outdoors. As a young man, Willie found employment with his father. Willie received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Northeast Louisiana University after studying at Harding University.

Career

Duck Commander was founded in 1972 and today has grown into a multi-million dollar business specializing in the manufacture of a variety of popular hunting-related products such as duck decoys, duck calls, cooking DVDs, and apparel. Along with his father Phil, brother Jase, mother Miss Kay, uncle Si, and wife Korie, Willie operates Duck Commander. Fewer than a decade ago, Duck Commander was a home-based mom-and-pop enterprise. As early as 1972, Willie's father came up with the idea for the famous Duck Commander Duck Call. In its first year of operation, Phil's call brought in $8,000 in profit. As the duck call gained in popularity among serious hunters, its price quickly skyrocketed to nearly $500,000 in just a few short years. When Willie became CEO of the company, he used his business degree and sales experience to take the company out of the living room and into the big time. Duck Commander generated a great portion of Willie's wealth and also drew the interest to start the TV show "Duck Dynasty" on A&E. The audience for "Duck Dynasty," which aired on Wednesday nights at 10 p.m., increased from one million to over eight million throughout the course of the show's run. The television series "Duck Dynasty" was broadcast in more than 40 different countries and was consistently ranked among the top programmes in their respective nations. Over 10 million people watched the season three finale, making it the most-watched television program of all time and surpassing even American Idol in the ratings. "Duck Dynasty" premiered on March 21, 2012. On March 29, 2017, the series finale aired.

In addition to their successful DVDs, books, and other products, Duck Commander, the company that spawned the show, now sells 600,000 duck calls annually. The Robertsons call themselves "redneck millionaires" and love their fancy cars and mansions, yet they still get down and dirty on hunting trips.

Willie is not only a famous TV personality, but also a best-selling author whose autobiography hit the top spot on The New York Times bestsellers list.

Personal Life

Married since 1992, Willie and Korie Robertson have two children together. This couple is raising a brood of six. Sadie, John, and Bella are the biological children of Willie and Korie. Rebecca is their foster daughter, who first came to the family as an exchange student from Taiwan in 2004. They adopted their son Willie Alexander. On Sunday, April 26, 2020, the Robertson family house was hit with eight to 10 bullets in a drive-by shooting in the middle of the afternoon. No one was wounded. Daniel King, Jr., 38, was taken into custody by Louisiana law enforcement after an investigation into the crime. With a bond set at $150,000, he remains in custody on charges of aggravated assault by drive-by shooting and abandonment of family. After his arrest, Willie went on Fox & Friends and said, "Given that I am unfamiliar with this individual, I cannot speculate as to his motivations. Whatever he was thinking, it's a good thing they captured him."

In addition, Willie stated that he and his family were "quite rattled up" since a bullet had penetrated the bedroom window of the house where his son John, his wife Mary Kate, and their newborn boy were residing. Also, John, Mary Kate, and their child have gotten a restraining order against King.

During the 2020 coronavirus epidemic, Robertson stunned admirers by getting a shorter haircut.
